This major flood was caused by several storms throughout the year, together with improper water management. The damage is under estimation by the government. The figure is surely very high and continues to increase, since more and more factories/industries are indiscriminately under water, including Honda, Toshiba, Canon, Sony, etc. If the responsible authorities fail to prevent such disaster from happening again, this would surely make a long term impact on Thailand economy.
Because travel is difficult, I could only take pictures from some places around Bangkok that are affected by the flood.
